Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zdenko Ravnić made the kick off which started today's match. Roberto Teuma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopold Bistrović came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberto Teuma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's Valter Slišković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Zarb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Ostoja Dedić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipovljani and the Floriana Celtics players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lipovljani getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ostoja Dedić hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Neville Frendo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopold Bistrović. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Sacco in the 19th minute of play forced Lipovljani's goalkeeper Leopold Bistrović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Zarb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdenko Ravnić in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Michele Saliba got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Zdenko Ravnić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Zarb was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Mihovil Zorčić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Zarb. Floriana Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihovil Zorčić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Teuma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Floriana Celtics's Robert Zarb got control of the ball when Gašpar Selenički tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mihovil Zorčić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Zarb was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Dylan Testaferrata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floriana Celtics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 90th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Thake to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Floriana Celtics's Robert Zarb got control of the ball when Zdenko Ravnić tried to sneak it across the goal line.
