The referee showed Karl Bordier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 minutes of play Cyber Attack's Karl Bordier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Cyber Attack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Bordier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harold Jouvet fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 24th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Harold Jouvet struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Robert Zarb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cyber Attack. Tommy Pécourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Robert Zarb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyber Attack's Lionel Florent was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Zarb in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tommy Pécourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Zarb having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Roberto Teuma made a precise shot to the right of Simon Pagnoux. Cyber Attack's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Simon Pagnoux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Teuma in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Cyber Attack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Pécourt didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Pécourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harold Jouvet hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Simon Pagnoux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Teuma in the 82nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Floriana Celtics players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cyber Attack.
