Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Ermanno Amicone started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Verbano FC's Dario Scalabrino came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Dave Valeriani had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After some careless play in the Farafulla FC defense, Ermanno Amicone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Valeriani. The Farafulla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Valeriani should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Bianchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Rea, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Ermanno Amicone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Farafulla FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Daniele Cavallo hit a great ball. Fortunato Bianchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Di Clemente in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Dario Scalabrino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verbano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farafulla FC the free kick. Fulvio Di Clemente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Bianchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Verbano FC's Fortunato Bianchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Di Clemente in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fortunato Bianchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Rea in the 53rd minute of the match. Dave Valeriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Amicone in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Verbano FC's Ermanno Amicone got a free kick in the 57th minute. Felice Bottaro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Ercole Rea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farafulla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Rea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberigo Piermattei kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Verbano FC's zone, Daniele Cavallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Bianchi came out of the goal and Daniele Cavallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Ermanno Amicone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Verbano FC got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Terenzi. In the 94th minute, Ermanno Amicone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verbano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The Verbano FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
