Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmondo De Lorenzi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Di Martino came free, but Angelo Gizzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gianluca Scamacca to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ciro Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Di Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Gizzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Falcioni in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Alessio Conti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluca Scamacca scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Scrima kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot by Amos Giusto from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Beppe Cannavacciuolo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Flavio Scrima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Beppe Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Armando Falcioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Scrima in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
52 minutes into the game, Ciro Di Martino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesacro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Club Sicilia the free kick. After 52 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Di Martino. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Sporting Club Sicilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Danza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Montesacro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo De Lorenzi to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Gianluca Scamacca notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Beppe Cannavacciuolo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Scrima in the 64th minute of play. Flavio Scrima took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Beppe Cannavacciuolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Scrima in the 77th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Gianluca Scamacca got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ciro Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Di Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Gizzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Gizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Domenici in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Ciro Di Martino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Gizzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Di Martino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Gizzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 89 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Danza. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ciro Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Di Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Gizzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Gianluca Scamacca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Montesacro FC defense, Flavio Scrima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Cannavacciuolo should have stopped the shot. Sporting Club Sicilia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
