Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Elia Finocchi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Elia Finocchi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shaun Cassar Torreggiani. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Miggiani to maneuver through the defense. Achille De Felice blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shaun Cassar Torreggiani having to make a save. Montechiarugolo AFC's Ettore Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Borda in the 18th minute of play. Eraldo De Cristofaro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Camillo Di Bartolo's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Di Bartolo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when Montechiarugolo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Di Bartolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Finocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Attard Gunners's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elia Finocchi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Attard Gunners's zone, Andrea Guerrieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani came out of the goal and Andrea Guerrieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Delia came free, but Ettore Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elia Finocchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani was a little too slow when Elia Finocchi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Delia to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Attard Gunners's zone, Achille De Felice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani came out of the goal and Achille De Felice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elia Finocchi went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Elia Finocchi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Attard Gunners's Shaun Cassar Torreggiani. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrea Guerrieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Andrea Guerrieri came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Guerrieri couldn't finish the play. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Pietrangelo in the 77th minute of the match. Attard Gunners's Shaun Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Finocchi in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Attard Gunners's Robert Gera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ettore Paris. Ettore Paris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Montechiarugolo AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
