After a defensive mix-up in Merceron United's zone, Corrado Negrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Giorda came out of the goal and Corrado Negrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the game, Andrea Tagliente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I ritirandi di Canaus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. Claudio Bosso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Biagio Dorigatti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Giorda. Merceron United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, I ritirandi di Canaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Colagrossi to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Negrini kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Merceron United's Claudio Bosso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bianco Roberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merceron United reached it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Merceron United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
