Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlo Mandelli got the match started through his kick off. The tension between the Merceron United and the A.S. Udinese players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessandro Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Bosso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ermanno Di Federico kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Biagio Balestra struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alberto Giorda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. Camillo Corna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alberto Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Enrico De Simone got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Carlo Mandelli took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Lucidi. Donato Lucidi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Balestra in the 31st minute of play. Ermanno Mammarella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lucidi having to interfere. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Grieco in the 40th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camillo Corna made a kick off. Alberto Giorda came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Anfilogino Di Crescenzo. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Di Crescenzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico De Simone during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the game, Fausto Vani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Udinese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Fausto Vani hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Biagio Balestra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.S. Udinese and the Merceron United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Biagio Balestra got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Mammarella to maneuver through the defense. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Armin Abbagnale replaced Biagio Balestra. In the 71st match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Mammarella to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Camillo Corna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Di Crescenzo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Merceron United's Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Furia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lucidi having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Augusto Furia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Di Blasio in the 93rd minute of play. When Alessandro Grieco came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the A.S. Udinese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Grieco couldn't finish the play.
