Beppe Cannavacciuolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cosimo Ragazzoni sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille De Felice came free, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Cesare Cinalli got a free kick in the 16th minute. Adriano Stefano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Finocchi in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Beppe Cannavacciuolo managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Montechiarugolo AFC's Cosimo Ragazzoni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Di Martino came free, but Fulvio Filice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Ragazzoni in the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Ragazzoni got free with Beppe Cannavacciuolo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Cannavacciuolo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Montechiarugolo AFC's Cosimo Ragazzoni. But to his dismay, Cosimo Ragazzoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Di Martino to make the kick off. Cosimo Ragazzoni kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Montesacro FC's Fulvio Filice threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferruccio Domenici, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, Cosimo Ragazzoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Montesacro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Ragazzoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Cosimo Ragazzoni fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave Cosimo Ragazzoni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Ragazzoni to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Achille De Felice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Montesacro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achille De Felice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Daniele Tabacco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Tabacco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Filice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille De Felice in the 81st minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
