Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlo Mandelli got the match started through his kick off. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Mastrangelo in the 4th minute of play. When Eugenio Raiola fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broom of the System DA13's protests and gave Eugenio Raiola a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Broom of the System DA13 defense, Augusto Furia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Giordano. The Broom of the System DA13 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Giordano should have stopped the shot. Carlo Mandelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercole Giordano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Mandelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Mandelli came free, but Ercole Giordano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merceron United's Ermanno Mammarella suffered a sore thigh after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 20 minutes, Ciccio Di Ruscio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broom of the System DA13 and the Merceron United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Ciccio Di Ruscio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Latini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alberto Giorda made a huge save. Alvaro Mastrangelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Giorda came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Mastrangelo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. After 30th play minutes Alvaro Mastrangelo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Alberto Giorda and just under the crossbar into goal. 40 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Mandelli came free, but Ercole Giordano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Furia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Mastrangelo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Broom of the System DA13's Augusto Latini got a free kick in the 56th minute. Carlo Mandelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ercole Giordano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alvaro Mastrangelo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ercole Giordano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Furia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Merceron United's Augusto Furia got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Broom of the System DA13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Di Ruscio to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Mandelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th match minute, Broom of the System DA13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave De Cesaris to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Mandelli took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Giordano. Ercole Giordano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Ercole Giordano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Mandelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Merceron United played a much better game than Broom of the System DA13 and deserved their victory. The Broom of the System DA13 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
