Alessio Ubriaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Schiacciacasse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Ubriaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Mims booed when Weltevedren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Vettori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Bruno Ansoldi made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Schiacciacasse. Weltevedren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bernardo Aceto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Alba's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute Bruno Ansoldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Schiacciacasse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Mims's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
