Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Youri Lignon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Just Bazoge hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Fouet. Angelo Tacco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Lignon in the 8th minute of play. Ground Control were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Calenzano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sylvain Chiffoleau took the corner. The corner ended in Sylvain Chiffoleau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calenzano's Angelo Tacco did a great save. In the 16th minute Youri Lignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Tacco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvain Chiffoleau in the 17th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Angelo Tacco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sylvain Chiffoleau fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Sylvain Chiffoleau a yellow card for diving instead. Sylvain Chiffoleau kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Sylvain Chiffoleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Tacco having to interfere. Ground Control's Sylvain Chiffoleau got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 52 minutes, Just Bazoge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ground Control and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Calenzano booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Just Bazoge didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Youri Lignon during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Youri Lignon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Youri Lignons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Angelo Tacco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelo Tacco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvain Chiffoleau in the 70th minute of play. Calenzano's Angelo Tacco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Calenzano's zone, Sylvain Chiffoleau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Tacco came out of the goal and Sylvain Chiffoleau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Just Bazoge hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match.
