Lazaros Dimopoulos's late challenge caught a Maritek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lazaros Dimopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maritek FC booed when AFC Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. AFC Ajax's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. AFC Ajax's Fokas Kastanos got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arrigo Carulli made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Molinaro got free with Menios Moschogiannis in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With splendid footwork Arrigo Carulli arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. Aurelio Cocca charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Cocca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dimitris Lazarakos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Marchegiani. In the 66th minute Arrigo Carulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Moschogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Ajax's zone, Daniele Gaudino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Moschogiannis came out of the goal and Daniele Gaudino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AFC Ajax getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eustratios Katsadourakis hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Arrigo Carulli notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AFC Ajax's Menios Moschogiannis. Menios Moschogiannis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Maritek FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Daniele Gaudino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Ajax's zone, Arrigo Carulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Moschogiannis came out of the goal and Arrigo Carulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menios Moschogiannis made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aurelio Cocca sent off a good shot on target. Damiano Raffa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Koulis Kostaras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Marchegiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Maritek FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Filippo Lucantoni hit a great ball. Camillo Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Maritek FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
