Goran Mahalec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Teuma in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Kazimir Broz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Meerkats FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave NK BRONZIN a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frano Udovčić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meerkats FC's William Troisi. 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Mateo Zuber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK BRONZIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meerkats FC the free kick. Alfred Pavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes, NK BRONZIN's Ivan Mrdeža shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Troisi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NK BRONZIN reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimir Broz during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NK BRONZIN getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kazimir Broz hit a great ball. Goran Mahalec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Miggiani in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, NK BRONZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimir Broz to maneuver through the defense. When Vatroslav Štefanić came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the NK BRONZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vatroslav Štefanić couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Želimir Kraljević notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Meerkats FC's William Troisi. William Troisi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denis Guberina's late challenge caught a Meerkats FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Guberina helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NK BRONZIN's Denis Guberina got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Goran Mahalec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Miggiani. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Želimir Kraljević made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Antoine Miggiani made a precise shot to the right of Goran Mahalec. NK BRONZIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 61st minute, Timothy De Battista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Vatroslav Štefanić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Troisi came out of the goal and Vatroslav Štefanić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy De Battista came free, but Goran Mahalec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Fabio Rapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goran Mahalec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Želimir Kraljević kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Goran Mahalec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Miggiani in the 86th minute of play. Stephen Bonnici kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matej Gvojić during the 91st minute. Chants of NK BRONZIN echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Meerkats FC had held the ball for most of the match.
