When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fabio Rapa sped through Lilywhites's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulvio Nola. After some careless play in the Lilywhites defense, Antoine Miggiani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Nola. The Lilywhites fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Nola should have stopped the shot. After 41 played minutes Lilywhites got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Di Muzio. The Lilywhites players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meerkats FC were winning 0-3.

After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Carlo Pasquale got a free kick in the 56th minute. With his leg Fulvio Nola managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Meerkats FC's Antoine Miggiani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Stephan Duca fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meerkats FC's protests and gave Stephan Duca a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Duca. After 62 played minutes, Lilywhites's Fortunato Minicucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Troisi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lilywhites reached it. The audience was convinced that Fabio Rapa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulvio Nola was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Timothy De Battista got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes, Lilywhites's Edmondo Piattelli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Troisi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Fulvio Nola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Rapa struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fulvio Nola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meerkats FC. Fulvio Nola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Miggiani in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Riccitelli came free, but William Troisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabio Rapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmondo Piattelli kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Antonello Di Muzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilywhites's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Di Muzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Meerkats FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lilywhites.
