Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Babbis Zervoudakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Christoforos Venetidis came free, but Ahmid Lamouroux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Pierre-Henri Le Bozec got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoforos Venetidis in the 8th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Loup Pomies. Evripidis Zisimopoulos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ahmid Lamouroux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ. Cosa nostra Lyon's Daniel Belon got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Dominique Favrot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Panos Asimakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute of the match, Babbis Zervoudakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmid Lamouroux was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute Steven Lebreton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Asimakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Asimakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Favrot in the 34th minute of play. Dominique Favrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Asimakis having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Lebreton made a kick off. Ahmid Lamouroux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Kotsopoulos in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evripidis Zisimopoulos in the 58th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Dimosthenis Antonopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmid Lamouroux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosa nostra Lyon's Ahmid Lamouroux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Venetidis in the 65th minute of play. Tasos Kontargyris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Zisimopoulos. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's zone, Steven Lebreton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panos Asimakis came out of the goal and Steven Lebreton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Christoforos Venetidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmid Lamouroux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dimosthenis Antonopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimosthenis Antonopoulos couldn't finish the play. The Cosa nostra Lyon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
