Aurelio Ragusa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's Ahmid Lamouroux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Ragusa in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Cosa nostra Lyon's Steven Lebreton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florian Causio. Florian Causio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Ragusa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmid Lamouroux was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Zola Predosa FC's Florian Causio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Favrot in the 12th minute of play. Florian Causio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Belon in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Lebreton got free with Florian Causio in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Ragusa in the 38th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Lebreton made a kick off. After some careless play in the Zola Predosa FC defense, Dominique Favrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Causio. The Zola Predosa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Causio should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Lebreton in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Causio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Spano in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmid Lamouroux saved Cosa nostra Lyon from getting behind. A hard shot 77 in the game by Fabiano Spano from a close distance when the talented Ahmid Lamouroux managed to make a qualified save. Cosa nostra Lyon's players were relieved. With his leg Ahmid Lamouroux managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Zola Predosa FC's Aurelio Ragusa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joël Delamare took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian Causio. Florian Causio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Florian Causio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Lebreton in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Zola Predosa FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cesare Toto hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Nelson Singer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Causio skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Cosa nostra Lyon were awarded a corner. Nelson Singer went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosa nostra Lyon's Nelson Singer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florian Causio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florian Causio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joël Delamare, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cosa nostra Lyon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zola Predosa FC for a fine match.
