Christoforos Venetidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alkis Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Iraklis Seretis got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Zervoudakis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Babbis Zervoudakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters rose to their feet, but Babbis Zervoudakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GREEK ARMY from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Alkis Kalaboukas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoforos Venetidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alkis Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
