Camillo Colecchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ilias Peristeropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Christos Banasas put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Christos Banasas got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Piccirilli in the 7th minute of the match. Medoacus Maior's Carlo Suriani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Medoacus Maior from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Camillo Colecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Carlo Suriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petros Giannakis. After having played for 17 minutes, Antonello Garibaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medoacus Maior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Garibaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Medoacus Maior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Garibaldi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Medoacus Maior booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Skevofilakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alekos Korakakis in the 31st minute of play forced Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Carlo Suriani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Camillo Colecchia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilias Peristeropoulos was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Carlo Suriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Giannakis in the 38th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Alessio Caligaris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilias Peristeropoulos. That made the score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Augusto Carafa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medoacus Maior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Carafa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilias Peristeropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Caligaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Thrasivoulos Moisiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Suriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Fabrizio Piccirilli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medoacus Maior's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Piccirilli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Peristeropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Panos Mastrantoniou hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Alessio Caligaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Peristeropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Caligaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Peristeropoulos having to interfere. Camillo Colecchia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilias Peristeropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Panos Mastrantoniou kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ilias Peristeropoulos made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Fabrizio Piccirilli sent off a good shot on target. The Medoacus Maior players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ΠΑΟΚ FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
