Kolopetinitsa's Spyros Panagiotas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Pietrini in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Giorgi came free, but Spyros Panagiotas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Garofoli scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spyros Panagiotas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Talenti Roma Calcio getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ettore Pietrini hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Francesco Giorgi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spyros Panagiotas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ercole Pacella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Karpodinis in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lambros Karpodinis got free with Ercole Pacella in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambros Karpodinis to make the kick off.
