The supporters of Zola Predosa FC booed when ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolis Papalexiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zola Predosa FC's Fabiano Spano got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Fondas Balouris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Censi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Ragusa got free with Fondas Balouris in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zola Predosa FC! 23 minutes into the match, Manolis Papalexiou notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zola Predosa FC's Florian Causio. Florian Causio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the game, Babbis Zervoudakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florian Causio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32ndth minute of the game Christoforos Venetidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zola Predosa FC's Florian Causio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiano Spano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fondas Balouris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. If Manolis Papalexiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Zervoudakis came free, but Florian Causio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 51st match minute, Zola Predosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Varglien to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolis Papalexiou in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Causio saved Zola Predosa FC from getting behind. In the 60th play minute Babbis Zervoudakis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florian Causio. 0-3. Manolis Papalexiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Florian Causio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zola Predosa FC's Florian Causio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Venetidis in the 67th minute of play. When Domenico Varglien fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zola Predosa FC's protests and gave Domenico Varglien a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zola Predosa FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aurelio Maranzano hit a great ball. Zola Predosa FC's Florian Causio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Zola Predosa FC from getting a goal against them. When Emilio Barberio fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zola Predosa FC's protests and gave Emilio Barberio a yellow card for diving instead. Christoforos Venetidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Babbis Zervoudakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Causio having to make a save. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
