Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Babbis Megalios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Iacomini having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Omiros Prikourakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Gladiator FC's Ferruccio Rinaldi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Takis Lazakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amos Iacomini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Babbis Megalios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fausto Bellomo hit a great ball. Sheriff's Lakis Panagiotopoulos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amos Iacomini but with some difficulty. Argyris Bogias struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Amos Iacomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheriff. Gladiator FC's Amos Iacomini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiator FC from getting a goal against them. If Omiros Prikourakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eraldo Taglieri fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiator FC's protests and gave Eraldo Taglieri a yellow card for diving instead. Amos Iacomini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babbis Megalios in the 35th minute. Amedeo Orlandi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sheriff's Takis Lazakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Tatangelo in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Tatangelo came free, but Takis Lazakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Megalios was the one to do the kick off. Amos Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Panagiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheriff's Takis Lazakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Tatangelo in the 56th minute of play. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Argyris Bogias sped through Gladiator FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amos Iacomini. 63 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Prikourakis came free, but Amos Iacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Lazakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ubriaco in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Rinaldi got free with Takis Lazakis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amos Iacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Megalios, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Amos Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Megalios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Argyris Bogias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Iacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gladiator FC's Fausto Bellomo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Babbis Megalios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Argyris Bogias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sheriff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Amos Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Megalios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
