Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Panagiotis Bourousis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Nikos Moustos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiator FC's Angelo Marchegiani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Fabiano Tatangelo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Manos Papaiakovou to make any attempt to save it. 8 minutes into the game, Amedeo Orlandi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Go Ahead Eagles the free kick. Amedeo Orlandi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Manos Christodoulou hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Manos Christodoulou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Marchegiani. Gladiator FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manos Christodoulou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Beloukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Rinaldi came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christodoulos Vazakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manos Papaiakovou acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabiano Tatangelo. Apostolos Antoniou charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apostolos Antoniou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apostolos Antoniou kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Rinaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Marchegiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Bourousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fulvio Di Prinzio hit a great ball. Manos Christodoulou, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gerasimos Kallitsis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Fulvio Di Prinzio took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Manos Papaiakovou made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Fulvio Di Prinzio sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Tatangelo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Giotis Kouloucheris hit a great ball. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Tatangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Rinaldi in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Tatangelo came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferruccio Rinaldi during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Ferruccio Rinaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Giotis Kouloucheris. 80 minutes into the match, Fabiano Tatangelo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelo Marchegiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Moustos in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Manos Christodoulou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Manos Christodoulou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Marchegiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Moustos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
