Spectators: 178 (Terracing: 134, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Freddy Blond made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Argyris Bogias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérémy Coutier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Charles Le Brun got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jérémy Coutier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Megalios in the 9th minute of play. Argyris Bogias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jérémy Coutier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Zervidis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Panos Zervidis hit a great ball. If Bernard Grancher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Mario Rabaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Takis Lazakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rabaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Le Brun hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Thierry Fouassier fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Le Stade Briochin UC's protests and gave Thierry Fouassier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Fouassier to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Blond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Takis Lazakis made a huge save. Daniil Masourakis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Freddy Blond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goalkeeper Takis Lazakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Grancher.

In the 50th minute, Freddy Blond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd minute, Miltos Tokalidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jérémy Coutier made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Babbis Megalios sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Megalios got free with Jérémy Coutier in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Daniil Masourakis hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Freddy Blond notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sheriff's Takis Lazakis. Takis Lazakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Babbis Megalios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Jérémy Coutier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omiros Prikourakis. Lakis Panagiotopoulos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Freddy Blond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sheriff's Takis Lazakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takis Lazakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Techer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Tokalidis. Bernard Grancher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Takis Lazakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Sheriff's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sheriff may have spent more time on the ball, but Le Stade Briochin UC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
