After 2 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Luc Breil. Corrado Marinucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mourad Almeras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philippe Gimbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Spadoni having to interfere. With a little luck, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Aldo Spadoni got control of the ball when Marvin Mariotte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola defense, Éloi Artus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Spadoni. The G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Spadoni should have stopped the shot. klide13's Mourad Almeras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Marinucci in the 20th minute of play. After 27 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Grégoire Villenave. In the 33rd minute Corrado Marinucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mourad Almeras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mourad Almeras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Marinucci in the 40th minute of the match. Luc Breil's late challenge caught a G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luc Breil helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Luc Breil. Armando Toschi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, klide13's Éloi Artus got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Di Natale to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corrado Marinucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Corrado Marinucci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mourad Almeras. Corrado Marinucci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 65 played minutes G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola got a freekick which was hit by Franco Rondinelli. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marvin Mariotte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 78th match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Di Natale to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Philippe Gimbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Spadoni. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philippe Gimbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When Luc Breil was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. The supporters of G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola booed when klide13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luc Breil didn't get a good kick on the ball. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
