Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giorgos Maragozis started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Maragozis came free, but Angelo Marchegiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kerkyra FC's Dimitris Giannakidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Rinaldi in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Giorgos Maragozis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Marchegiani, 1-0. After 16 minutes, Enzo Guaita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiator FC and the Kerkyra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Marchegiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 21st minute. Dimitris Giannakidis came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiator FC's Fabiano Tatangelo. But to his dismay, Fabiano Tatangelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Angelo Marchegiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Maragozis. Kyriakos Lavdas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kerkyra FC's zone, Ferruccio Rinaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Giannakidis came out of the goal and Ferruccio Rinaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Giorgos Maragozis in the 35th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Angelo Marchegiani kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Fabiano Rossi's late challenge caught a Kerkyra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Marchegiani was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valentinos Kanellakis. After 43 played minutes Kerkyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Kyriakos Lavdas.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Tatangelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Marchegiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Katsiaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Rinaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Iacomini came free, but Dimitris Giannakidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentinos Kanellakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Angelo Marchegiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Fausto Bellomo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kerkyra FC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Bellomo. Valentinos Kanellakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Marchegiani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentinos Kanellakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Marinos Katsiaros scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Marchegiani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giotis Kalokerinos's late challenge caught a Gladiator FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giotis Kalokerinos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Giotis Kalokerinos hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Giorgos Maragozis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerkyra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Maragozis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Marchegiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Fragoulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Marinos Katsiaros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Marchegiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Pouliadis in the 81st minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Angelo Marchegiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gladiator FC's Fabiano Rossi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiator FC's zone, Valentinos Kanellakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Marchegiani came out of the goal and Valentinos Kanellakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Kerkyra FC's Marinos Katsiaros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Marchegiani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Marinos Katsiaros might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Marchegiani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marinos Katsiaros ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Katsiaros in the 94th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Angelo Marchegiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Kerkyra FC were the better team. Kerkyra FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
