Andrea Del Gatto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ferruccio Costanzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Guidoni hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Bianco Guidoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Crema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Costanzo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ercole Zarillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute Bianco Guidoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Crema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano De Filippo's late challenge caught a FC Aquile Azzurre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 42ndth minute of the game Fulvio Benedetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Morena's Biagio Crema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Biagio Crema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Marcolongo in the 46th minute of play. Franco Catena scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Crema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Franco Catena made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goalkeeper Biagio Crema had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Basile. After 85 minutes, Bianco Guidoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aquile Azzurre and the AC Morena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmondo Verdini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferruccio Costanzo. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Biagio Crema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Catena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Crema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Catena in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Aquile Azzurre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
