Fanis Kapernekas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cristoforo Cesare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Sokratis Symeonakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Doria F.C.'s Cristoforo Cesare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Sokratis Symeonakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Cesare was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Manos Komaitis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristoforo Cesare. Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristoforo Cesare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Symeonakis in the 18th minute of play. Cristoforo Cesare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fanis Kapernekas's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dimitris Stathakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felice Pardini in the 26th minute. Iosif Pantelatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Cesare having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sokratis Symeonakis made the kick off in the second half. Cristoforo Cesare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Pantelatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Fanis Kapernekas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RO Army V55 were furious when Vassilis Stergioudas was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RO Army V55! Dimitris Stathakos had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Carter Pomponio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 94 minutes of play, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Cesare was left in no man's land by his defense there! The RO Army V55 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RO Army V55 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
