Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alketas Vertsotis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stamatis Kazatzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Augusto Avesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Benevento:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Panos Karnezis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Makis Efthimiadis's late challenge caught a Atletico Benevento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Makis Efthimiadis helped the player get up and apologised. Makis Efthimiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Alketas Vertsotis hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Anthimos Chatzikostas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Orestis Koskinopoulos. GOD OF WAR's Michalis Bouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Caponera in the 30th minute of play. Augusto Avesani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Karidis in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, GOD OF WAR's Alketas Vertsotis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Avesani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 36th match minute, Atletico Benevento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Mori to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Avesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alketas Vertsotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Fulvio Caponera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOD OF WAR's Michalis Bouras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Atletico Benevento getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Donato Cappucci hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Panos Karnezis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletico Benevento's Augusto Avesani didn't even have to move. Makis Efthimiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Iachini came free, but Michalis Bouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Iachini made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Avesani was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Kostas Tassakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kostas Tassakos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Michalis Bouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Rulli in the 57th minute of the match. Fulvio Caponera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Benevento's Domenico Sisti got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Fanis Paouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GOD OF WAR getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Makis Efthimiadis hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Fausto Iachini made a precise shot to the right of Michalis Bouras. GOD OF WAR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Michalis Bouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Iachini in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Claudio Rulli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michalis Bouras. GOD OF WAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Rulli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Atletico Benevento's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
