Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bazellatin F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thodoris Diamantidis in the 5th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of R.C. Marseille's goalie and right to Thalis Tzavaras. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. R.C. Marseille's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 7 minutes of play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Gascon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyril Bec hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Stratos Savouras had several of the R.C. Marseille's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Thomas Gascon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Louis Theofilopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Icard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stratos Savouras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Thomas Gascon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Bazellatin F.C. defense, Blaise Castera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louis Theofilopoulos. The Bazellatin F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louis Theofilopoulos should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Venetis got free with Thomas Gascon in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louis Theofilopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Suchet went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes Bazellatin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Theofanis Dilberis. 41 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Savouras came free, but Thomas Gascon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Thomas Gascon managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 47th play minute Stratos Savouras came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Gascon. 4-2.

In the 51st match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charalambos Anastasakos to maneuver through the defense. Blaise Castera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Theofilopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaise Castera in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, R.C. Marseille's Gustave Icard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louis Theofilopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. 65 minutes into the game, Bazellatin F.C.'s Loukianos Karalis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Gascon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. After 68 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Omar Suchet. 71 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Karalis came free, but Thomas Gascon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loukianos Karalis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Gascon having to make a save. Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Gascon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stratos Savouras went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-4 was the resulting score. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
