Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clayton Vella got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Gruppetta in the 5th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Antonio Di Gennaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Barbato's late challenge caught a Seraċini Għawdxin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Barbato helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Barbato. Dejan Cumbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Lemme in the 13th minute of play. When Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Vella in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seggiano's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute Clayton Vella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Di Gennaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Vella came free, but Antonio Di Gennaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dejan Cumbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Berardini, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Seggiano's Antonio Di Gennaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Manicolo in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eraldo Giammaria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dejan Cumbo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Dejan Cumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Lemme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Attilio Campoli put in a rough tackle. In the 43rd match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Campoli to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eraldo Giammaria to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when William Manicolo came free, but Antonio Di Gennaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dejan Cumbo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eraldo Giammaria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Giammaria came free, but Dejan Cumbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seggiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Talamo in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Seggiano's Ermanno Lemme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dejan Cumbo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dejan Cumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Giammaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Petroni to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Aldo Andreoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Manicolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Schiavone made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Godwin Spagnol however managed to control. In the 84th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Callus to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Seggiano's Eraldo Giammaria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dejan Cumbo. That made the score 0-3 after 86 minutes of play. When Clayton Vella came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Seraċini Għawdxin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clayton Vella couldn't finish the play. Antonio Di Gennaro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Vella. But to his dismay, Clayton Vella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Chants of Seggiano echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Seraċini Għawdxin had held the ball for most of the match.
