Seggiano's Antonio Di Gennaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Allegretti in the 13th minute of play. Dave Berardini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alvaro Zaccardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AC Civetta Notturna getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristiano Baresi hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Cristoforo Giuliani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Di Muzio made a kick off. Alvaro Zaccardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Giammaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Anthony Di Muzio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Antonio Di Gennaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Di Muzio in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ermanno Lemme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Zaccardi. AC Civetta Notturna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermanno Lemme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Antonio Di Gennaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Domina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Zaccardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Giammaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Anthony Di Muzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Civetta Notturna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Di Muzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Aldo Ruscitti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonio Di Gennaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the AC Civetta Notturna defense, Dave Berardini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Zaccardi. The AC Civetta Notturna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Zaccardi should have stopped the shot. The Seggiano support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
