Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thymios Kominidis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Kominidis in the 2nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, William Manicolo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Manos Voutsas to make any attempt to save it. Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Kominidis in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edward Gruppetta hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Joe Petroni. In the 15th minute Theofanis Dilberis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Cumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by William Manicolo. Theofanis Dilberis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Petroni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theofanis Dilberis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dejan Cumbo having to interfere. Bazellatin F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Edward Gruppetta scored to the left of an out of position Manos Voutsas, making the score, 2-0. Theofanis Dilberis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Manicolo in the 31st minute of play forced Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Manos Voutsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Theofanis Dilberis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Cumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thodoris Diamantidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlo Markham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Manos Voutsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bazellatin F.C.'s Manos Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Gruppetta in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Bazellatin F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clayton Vella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clayton Vella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dejan Cumbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Kominidis in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Gruppetta in the 55th minute of play forced Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Manos Voutsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Nathan Mercieca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Mercieca hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Rasoulis in the 60th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Dejan Cumbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giotis Lissaridis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Clayton Vella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Vella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Christos Skalidis got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Vella came free, but Manos Voutsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Seraċini Għawdxin's Edward Gruppetta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Voutsas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Kominidis in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute Thymios Kominidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Cumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Giorgos Tevekelis got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Manos Voutsas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dejan Cumbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thymios Kominidis in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clayton Vella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dejan Cumbo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Thodoris Diamantidis sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Seraċini Għawdxin had won after a very even match.
