Ercole Cesare made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Norbert Domenech would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 7 minutes, Pacôme Cugnet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the Bisturi F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Attilio Uguccioni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu Bouziane lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 29th minute, one of Herblay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herblay. 40 minutes into the game, Ercole Cesare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Norbert Domenech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ercole Cesares short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Norbert Domenech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosimo Gaeta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Armin Motta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Domenech was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Amos Fata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bisturi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Fata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
