The Red Proud FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Rui Azenha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Xano Odín dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rui Azenha, 1-1. After 27 minutes, Filipe Macena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Proud FC and the Real Armal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 39 minutes, Xano Odín managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Armal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Xano Odín was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eder Mangas. Siro Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Flávio Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Casillas having to interfere. Siro Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Macena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Coimbra to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Macena in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Siro Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Brito in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Flávio Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Coimbra got free with Siro Casillas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Brito in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Casillas saved Real Armal F.C. from getting behind. When Raúl Gasso came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Real Armal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Gasso couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Red Proud FC's Aloísio Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siro Casillas. Siro Casillas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Siro Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Brito in the 92nd minute of the match. Siro Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
