Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Burni Zapico in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's corner Burni Zapico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamilton Gouveia quite easily take care of the ball. Hamilton Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Normando Condes short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Xabel Beloki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xabel Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aveiro in the 28th minute of play. Hamilton Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burni Zapico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Aguado made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estefan Hernandez in the 56th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Hamilton Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Adélio Caiado got a free kick in the 57th minute. Estefan Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Hamilton Gouveia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO. Normando Conde might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xabel Beloki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Normando Conde ran back to his position shaking his head. Burni Zapico kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burni Zapico to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, David Aveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but David Aveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Gouveia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Lama in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burni Zapico in the 77th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Hamilton Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Hamilton Gouveia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Hamilton Gouveia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Aguado. Terceirense F.C.'s Hamilton Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estefan Hernandez in the 88th minute of play. Anton Lama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hamilton Gouveia made a huge save. In the 89th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adélio Caiado to maneuver through the defense. Estefan Hernandez scored 0-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamilton Gouveia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egídio Bacelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Xabel Beloki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
