Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Delgado kicked off to start the match. Indalecio Morcego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Manolo Ucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PERSPOLIS's Manolo Ucero got control of the ball when Antero Vadillos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pello Cameno might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manolo Ucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pello Cameno ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Otero in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jaizki Lacorte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Romani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antero Vadillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Manolo Ucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hitzeder Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Ucero having to interfere. After 22 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Espartaco Castellano. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Manolo Ucero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manolo Ucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antero Vadillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Manolo Ucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hitzeder Palomar in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Otero in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antero Vadillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Lander Solana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When PERSPOLIS's Jaizki Lacorte in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonardo Romani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florian Azofra hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antero Vadillos made a kick off. If Pello Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Romani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuaco Otero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Romani made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jaizki Lacorte sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani got control of the ball when Xuaco Otero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PERSPOLIS's zone, Pello Cameno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolo Ucero came out of the goal and Pello Cameno tried to chip the ball over his head. Manolo Ucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pello Cameno in the 66th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Delgado came free, but Leonardo Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pello Cameno might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manolo Ucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pello Cameno ran back to his position shaking his head. Pello Cameno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Pello Cameno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Pello Cameno came free, but Manolo Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antero Vadillos in the 97th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Manolo Ucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing PERSPOLIS to win.
