Ramiro Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Sampil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Fagondo Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Saura came free, but Ramiro Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stars Academy's Ramiro Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagondo Sampil in the 18th minute of play. Américo Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Landa having to interfere. Polo Duran charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Polo Duran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Polo Duran kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Fagondo Sampil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ramiro Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Sobral. Ramiro Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiano Bargas in the 34th minute of the match. Salvador Sobral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sagrario Landa came out and tried to block the shot, but Salvador Sobral slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute Fagondo Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sagrario Landa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Albuquerque in the 44th minute of the match. Fagondo Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fagondo Sampil to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Los romperredes F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Carmona came free, but Sagrario Landa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastiano Bargas got free with Ramiro Leme in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Fagondo Sampil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro Leme, 1-2. Ramiro Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fagondo Sampil's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Máximo Baía in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los romperredes F.C's Iyan Antunez. After having played for 66 minutes, Fagondo Sampil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los romperredes F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagondo Sampil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los romperredes F.C's Sagrario Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Sobral in the 69th minute of play. António Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The Los romperredes F.C fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Los romperredes F.C's Fagondo Sampil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Eriz Olano got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sagrario Landa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Albuquerque in the 81st minute of play. Stars Academy's Ramiro Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagondo Sampil in the 85th minute of play. Sagrario Landa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Carmona went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Salvador Sobral got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Salvador Sobral hit a great ball. After 94 minutes, Evandro Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stars Academy and the Los romperredes F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los romperredes F.C booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Los romperredes F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los romperredes F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
