Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leandro Azenha kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Curado. The supporters of Sporting Tuga FC booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dário Vilar came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Leandro Azenha. But to his dismay, Leandro Azenha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bruno Caldeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Bulhosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Matos Velhos's Bruno Caldeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sporting Tuga FC booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Tuga FC defense, Marcos Quintanilha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Vilar. The Sporting Tuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Vilar should have stopped the shot. Leandro Azenha might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Vilar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Azenha ran back to his position shaking his head. Dário Vilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Vilhena in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Leandro Azenha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matos Velhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Sporting Tuga FC defense, Joaquim Vilhena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Vilar. The Sporting Tuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Vilar should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes in the game João Caneira did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aldo Perdigão. Albérico Camargo lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ronaldo Baía recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matos Velhos's Leandro Azenha got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After 53 played minutes Sporting Tuga FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Estrela. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Nuno Guerra got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Joaquim Vilhena fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matos Velhos's protests and gave Joaquim Vilhena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes, Sporting Tuga FC's Jordão Souto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Caldeira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Tuga FC reached it. If Afonso Bulhosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Caldeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Bulhosa went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Matos Velhos's Marcos Quintanilha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dário Vilar. That made the score 1-5 after 77 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Joaquim Vilhena got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Aldo Perdigão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matos Velhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Tuga FC the free kick. The supporters of Sporting Tuga FC booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Perdigão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordão Souto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Caldeira. Matos Velhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Palmiro Fraga hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Vilhena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dário Vilar. That made the score 1-6 in the 89 minute of play. When Joaquim Vilhena came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Matos Velhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Vilhena couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Matos Velhos's Nuno Guerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dário Vilar. Dário Vilar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7.
