Isac Palhares hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octávio Macieira in the 12th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Octávio Macieira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 17th match minute, KINDERUZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torcato Colaço to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Torcato Colaço kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Godinho. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Godinho should have stopped the shot. A collision led to KINDERUZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricardo Bandeira hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Mauro Barata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateus Garcez. Mauro Barata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Barata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateus Garcez. That made the score 3-1 in the 28 minute of play. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Adolfo Abrantes got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Abrantes came free, but Mariano Godinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KINDERUZ booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Palhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. KINDERUZ's Mateus Garcez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Barata in the 39th minute of play. Mateus Garcez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Barata in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abílio Mafra in the 41st minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abílio Mafra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute of the match, Viriato Calheiros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateus Garcez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mateus Garcez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Octávio Macieira sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Abrantes made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mauro Barata managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Barata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Garcez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Laureano in the 54th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Mauro Barata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Garcez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 58 minutes into the game, Adolfo Abrantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KINDERUZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. Adolfo Abrantes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palmiro Roriz during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abílio Mafra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mateus Garcez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Mauro Barata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Mateus Garcez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Palhares came free, but Mateus Garcez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Valério fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KINDERUZ's protests and gave Paulo Valério a yellow card for diving instead. Mateus Garcez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Calheiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Mateus Garcez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 98 played minutes KINDERUZ got a freekick which was hit by Palmiro Roriz. There was no doubt that VB-Team were the better team. VB-Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
