In the 8th minute, Álvaro Sardinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Nogueira scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Nóbrega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Vilaverde lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in DPD FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Silvério Cardoso placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Vítor Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silvério Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte do Carro's protests and gave Silvério Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Silvério Cardoso got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Ponte do Carro's Vítor Sacramento in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DPD FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 32nd play minutes Vítor Sacramento shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Pedro Nóbrega and just under the crossbar into goal. After 34 played minutes DPD FC got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Pacheco. 38 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higino Valente came free, but Pedro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vítor Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponte do Carro's Vítor Sacramento got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Nogueira came free, but Pedro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Sacramento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Nóbrega having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Moisés Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Nogueira came free, but Pedro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vítor Sacramento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Sacramento who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Nóbrega when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vítor Sacramento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Álvaro Sardinha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DPD FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ponte do Carro the free kick. A collision led to DPD FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Álvaro Sardinha hit a great ball. Higino Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pedro Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Sacramento in the 93rd minute. Serafim Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Ponte do Carro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
