António Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Solana, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, one of Riemannian:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Riemannian. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Viseu United's Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eutropio Toxeiro. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Norberto Flores hit a great ball. Prospero Solana scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Veiga in the 24th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Eutropio Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Viseu United booed when Riemannian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Sauca didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Hector-Luis Baeza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 45 minutes, André Novais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viseu United and the Riemannian players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Gonçalves to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutropio Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Daniel Pimentel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Riemannian's Eutropio Toxeiro did a great save. In the 59th minute, André Novais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goalkeeper António Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Solana. Daniel Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Ovidio Macho from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got António Branco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Daniel Pimentel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Angelo Nogueira hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Riemannian's Prospero Solana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. The supporters of Riemannian booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Segundo Sauca got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Hélio Prada got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Viseu United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Riemannian were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
