The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Viseu United's Hélio Prada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Lagunas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tito Lagunas made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Hélio Prada sent off a good shot on target. Hélio Prada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tito Lagunas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miguel Colillas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Colillas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Vilamor Santa Maria FC's Tito Lagunas got control of the ball when Rui Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Viseu United's Carlos Gonçalves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tito Lagunas. Tito Lagunas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Rui Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilamor Santa Maria FC's Tito Lagunas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Norberto Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Lagunas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Vilamor Santa Maria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Pimentel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
