Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertino Lobato started the match with the kick off. Tome Bencoiechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albérico Amorim in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Kiko Ponce De Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobrecastell UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Ponce De Leon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Etxeberri Bargas. When Pedro Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Setúbal couldn't finish the play. Sálvio Estrela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tome Bencoiechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albérico Amorim in the 29th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Albertino Lobato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Etxeberri Bargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquadrão Lusitano the free kick. In the 39th minute of the match Pedro Setúbal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tome Bencoiechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Albérico Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albérico Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sobrecastell UD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esquadrão Lusitano were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiko Ponce De Leon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albérico Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Bencoiechea having to interfere. Richie Vagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Trindade having to interfere. Tome Bencoiechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Lobato in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Edur Tarin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albérico Amorim got free with Tome Bencoiechea in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the game, Gilberto Bodelon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquadrão Lusitano the free kick. After 69 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Bodelon. Albérico Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tome Bencoiechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tome Bencoiechea was a little too slow when Sálvio Estrela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Lobato came free, but Tome Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaizka Bermudez during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gaizka Bermudez hit a great ball. Pedro Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Lobato in the 96th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Esquadrão Lusitano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sobrecastell UD.
