Albérico Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Prospero Rico made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Albérico Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 20th minute of the match, Albertino Lobato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Prospero Rico saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Prospero Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Lobato in the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Prospero Rico managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Esquadrão Lusitano's Albérico Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prospero Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Lobato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Rico made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Albérico Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Federico Carro charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Carro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vilapriu getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Federico Carro hit a great ball. Charro Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Trindade having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vilapriu defense, Albérico Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Rico. The Vilapriu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Rico should have stopped the shot. Vilapriu's Prospero Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Vilapriu from getting a goal against them.

Prospero Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Fagundes in the 55th minute of play. Vilapriu's Prospero Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Lobato in the 58th minute of play. Charro Cano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Albérico Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 96 played minutes, Esquadrão Lusitano's Pedro Setúbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prospero Rico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esquadrão Lusitano reached it. There was no doubt that Esquadrão Lusitano were the better team. Esquadrão Lusitano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
