Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Januário Martins got the match started through his kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pere Manzano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Downchester City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Natal Galdamez hit a great ball. Pere Manzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Fica in the 5th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Ben Fica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pere Manzano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Roger Palomares took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lúcio Lopes to make any attempt to save it. Roger Palomares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lúcio Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Palomares took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Lopes. Lúcio Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Palomares got free with Lúcio Lopes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Palomares came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lúcio Lopes could save by the left post. With his leg Lúcio Lopes managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Downchester City's Roger Palomares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goal looked a bit too open when Xanti Jareño came free, but Lúcio Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Palomares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pere Manzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Fica, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Vivaldo Soveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Januário Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romualdo Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Palomares was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Arrebimba o Malho SLB's zone, Error Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Lopes came out of the goal and Error Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pere Manzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Fica in the 86th minute of the match. Lúcio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Palomares in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Arrebimba o Malho SLB booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santxo Candamil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Downchester City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arrebimba o Malho SLB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
