After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Inácio Ramalho got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ivan Trindade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nacho Marrero's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute VALPICA C.F. were awarded a corner. Maximiliano Camara went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Maximiliano Camara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nacho Marrero in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Trindade saved Esquadrão Lusitano from getting behind. After 97 minutes of play, VALPICA C.F.'s Saturnin Gala made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VALPICA C.F. had won after a very even match.
