Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Solo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Maximiliano Camara fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VALPICA C.F.'s protests and gave Maximiliano Camara a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Camara hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. VALPICA C.F.'s Pelayo Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Segarra in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Valcarcel. Pitin Albizua kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to VALPICA C.F. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Maximiliano Camara hit a great ball. Nacho Marrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adrián Saez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelayo Montero was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Pitin Albizua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pitin Albizua really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A collision led to VALPICA C.F. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nacho Marrero hit a great ball. Curcio Morales hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes, FCSB CUENCA's Aquiles Azofra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pelayo Montero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCSB CUENCA reached it. VALPICA C.F.'s Maximiliano Camara got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Maximiliano Camara off the ground. In the 30th match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Camara to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnin Gala came free, but Adrián Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Valcarcel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB CUENCA's zone, Tavio Rienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrián Saez came out of the goal and Tavio Rienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florencio Valcarcel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tavio Rienda to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Valcarcel came free, but Adrián Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tavio Rienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montrel Galego didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Solo came free, but Pelayo Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Aquiles Azofra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pelayo Montero. VALPICA C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Azofra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aquiles Azofra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelayo Montero having to interfere. Nacho Marrero kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misael Zapatero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Solo came free, but Pelayo Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Tavio Rienda lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Adrián Saez. The crowd rose to their feet as Tavio Rienda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrián Saez. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. If Goren Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrián Saez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tavio Rienda's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. VALPICA C.F.'s Tavio Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over VALPICA C.F. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCSB CUENCA throughout the match.
