Mancini from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Avelino Caldas got a free kick in the 6th minute. A hard shot 8 in the game by Donato Espinosa from a close distance when the talented Tiburcio Cienfuegos managed to make a qualified save. U.D. Mancini's players were relieved. Tarcísio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, U.D. Mancini's Javier Mala got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pepillo Griful charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pepillo Griful the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, U.D. Mancini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepillo Griful to maneuver through the defense. If Avelino Caldas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goiz Calderon was the one to do the kick off. Claudemiro Gomes's late challenge caught a U.D. Mancini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudemiro Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Claudemiro Gomes. 62 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube Patrício's Donato Espinosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Cienfuegos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 66th minute, Donato Espinosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Goiz Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Leal having to interfere. In the 75th minute Claudemiro Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Cienfuegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Cienfuegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Espinosa in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Cassiano Severo got a free kick in the 87th minute. U.D. Mancini's Pepillo Griful got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Pepillo Griful off the ground. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when U.D. Mancini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepillo Griful didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Cassiano Severo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Cienfuegos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the U.D. Mancini players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Clube Patrício.
