One of FCPorto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LVCVS AVGVSTI:s goal. The goalkeeper, Filipe Padilha, was totally fooled by LVCVS AVGVSTI's Cesareo Mas, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 38th minute, García Gonzalvez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesareo Mas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Salgueiro's late challenge caught a LVCVS AVGVSTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Salgueiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes FCPorto got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Salgueiro. Isauro Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Cesareo Mas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Padilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eufemio Vuelta in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isauro Riba in the 64th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Filipe Padilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Eufemio Vuelta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LVCVS AVGVSTI and the FCPorto players grew even worse after the yellow card. FCPorto made a substitution. Tiago Coelho replaced Ramiro Lameirinhas. Tiago Coelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Climent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
