After 7 played minutes, Atlético Micaelense's Veríssimo Carvalhal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Camaño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Micaelense reached it. In the 20th minute Doroteo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Asdrubal Sobrado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hinojar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Victor Roig hit a great ball. Veríssimo Carvalhal kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Ismael Cacheres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Amaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Cláudio Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Camaño. Hinojar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aristides Camaño made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cláudio Madureira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Atlético Micaelense booed when Hinojar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Casas didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Neves to make the kick off. Cláudio Madureira scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Camaño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Hinojar defense, Cláudio Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Camaño. The Hinojar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Camaño should have stopped the shot. Aristides Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Moutinho in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Hinojar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asdrubal Sobrado to maneuver through the defense. Doroteo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hinojar's Aristides Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Moutinho in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Atlético Micaelense were awarded a corner. Vicente Sanches went to the cornerflag to take it. Isac Carmo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Diego Garate kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Atlético Micaelense's Maurício Neves made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artemio Casas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hinojar's Diego Garate got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Wilson Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
